Description: Very hardy, very versatile member of the cabbage family, indigenous to Japan where it has been cultivated since around 500AD. A mild flavor between spinach and mustard, found in baby mixed greens, salads, sitr fried, or cooked like spinach. Only grows to about 1" high but 12" across, can be harvested from under snow!
Planting Instructions: 45 days. Direct sow seeds 1/4-1/2" deep into well-prepared soil as soon as it can be worked. Thin seedlings to 6-12". Harvest as early as 3 weeks for baby greens or the outer leaves around 7 weeks, leaving the inner rosette to cotinue growing. Plant additional seeds every 3 weeks for a continuous crop.
