    Min Qty: 4 g

Description:  Flat, oak-like leaves with red-purple stalks and veins.  Reliable and very vigorous variety that produces bumper crops on plants that grow to 12-18" high.   Good frost resistance.  Use quickly after picking as it tends to wilt.

Planting Instructions:   60 days.  Direct sow seeds 1/4-1/2" deep in rich, well-prepared soil as soon as it can be worked in the spring.  Thin seedlings to 8-12" apart in rows at least 18" apart.  For a fall crop, start seeds 6-8 weeks before first fall frost.  Mulch heavily after the first hard freeze and the plants may continue to produce leaves.
