Description: Hardy perennial to zone 4 with dark green leaves that taste like celery, but much easier to grow. Stems, roots and seeds have a wide variety of culinary uses.
Planting Instructions: 60 days. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Germinates in 10-14 days. Transplant outdoors after danger of frost has passed, spacing plants 2' apart in rich, well-drained soil in a location with partial to full sun. Will grow to 3-6' with bright yellow flowers. Harvest leaves continuously. Second year plants are best for drying.
