Min Qty: 4 g
Description: 1890 Heirloom, and by far the most popular of the Brussles sprouts, 24" high plants produce a bumper crop of delicious heads.
Planting Instructions: 90-110 days. Start plants indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost. Sow 1/4-1/2" deep into a starting mix. Keep evenly moist until germination. Provide plenty of light after the seedlings emerge. Transplant outdoors after danger of frost, spacing the plants 15-18" apart in rows 18-36" apart in rich, well-prepared soil. Prefers long, cool summers. Heavy feeders, so fertilize well, and keep well-irrigated, especially during dry spells. Flavor improves after the first frost.
