    Description: Open-pollinated basil used for its intense lamon fragrance. Great in fish and poultry dishes, as well as with vegetables or dried in a potpourri, a native of of Southeast Asia and well-know in their cuisine.

    Planting Instructions: 75 days. Start seeds indoors 6 weeks before the last frost. Transplant seedlings into well-drained soil 10-12" apart after danger of frost has passed in a location that will provide a minimum of 6-8 hours of sunlight daily. Direct plant seeds 1/4" deep after the last frost date, the soil should be at least 70�F/21�C. Gets along well with tomatoes. Great for container gardening. Harvest frequently to encourage more growth and larger overall yields. Pinch directly above where a pair of leaves are growing; two stems will result. Pinch any flowers.
