Large Red Cherry Pepper

$3.00

Capsicum annuum

Min Qty: 0.2g

Description:  Named for its cherry shape, produces slightly sweet, medium hot fruits.  1 to 1-1/2" peppers develop from green to red as they mature.  Harvest frequently to improve yields.

Planting Instructions:  100 days.  Start seeds indoors 8 weeks before last frost and maintain soil temp above 75F to improve germination and keep seedlings happy. Plant seeds 1/4" deep in flats or peat pots with sterile potting mixture.  Keep evenly moist until germination in about 7-10 days and provide plenty of light.  Transplant outdoors after the seedlings have several sets of true leaves and outdoor temps are consistently above 65F.  Black plastic can be used to help heat the soil.  Choose a location that gets full sun and soil that is rich and well drained.  Space plants 12-18" apart in rows 24" apart.  Peppers are very tender and do not tolerate frost.  They do best when provided a steady supply of water.
