Klari baby cheese sweet peppers are known for their bright yellow or orange color and are typically used in a variety of dishes, including salads, sandwiches, and as a topping for pizza and pasta. They can also be pickled, grilled, or roasted and used as a condiment.
Start seeds indoors 8 weeks before last frost and maintain soil temp above 75F to improve germination and keep seedlings happy. Plant seeds 1/4" deep in flats or peat pots with sterile potting mixture. Keep evenly moist until germination in about 7-10 days and provide plenty of light. Transplant outdoors after the seedlings have several sets of true leaves and outdoor temps are consistently above 65F. Black plastic can be used to help heat the soil. Choose a location that gets full sun and soil that is rich and well drained. Space plants 12-18" apart in rows 24" apart. Peppers are very tender and do not tolerate frost. They do best when provided a steady supply of water.
