    Min Qty: 0.4 g

Description: A member of the mint family horehound is a perennial to zone 3 that forms a 2' high bush with woody stems and gray-green fuzzy leaves. Used for drops and teas to alleviate coughs and lung congestion. Leaves can be dried and used all winter. Good choice for a container herb garden.

Planting Instructions: Start seeds after danger of frost and soil has warmed by scattering on disturbed soil and covering lightly with a dusting of soil. Choose a location with full sun and average, well-drained soil. Keep moist until seedlings emerge, which are slow to germinate. Thin seedlings to 10-12" apart. Requires very little maintenance. Overwatering can reduce the plant's health. Can be invasive.
