Description: Flat-leaved variety from northern Italy that grows to 1' high. Very hardy with a rich flavor that goes with a wide variety of dishes.
Planting Instructions: 70 days. Start indoors 3-4 weeks before last frost. Soak seeds overnight then sow 1/4" deep and keep evenly moist until seedlings emerge, which can take up to 3 weeks. Provide plenty of light and harden off before transplanting into well-prepared soil, spacing plants 6-10" apart in a location with good drainage and full sun. Alternately, direct seed after the threat of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. Water plants evenly during the growing season. Great for container gardening or repot one of your plants and bring it indoors for winter.
