Description: 1884 Heirloom. Elongated, 1-1/2" to 2" long, red-skinned radish with white tips and white flesh. Milder than other radish varieties. Great addition to salads or for dipping!
Planting Instructions: 25 days. After danger of frost has passed, plant seeds 1/4" deep in furrows in well-prepared soil. Cover with screened compost, or sand. Thin seedlings to 3" apart. Prefers cool weather. Plant every week or two to ensure a continuous crop up until 2 months before last frost. Water regularly for best flavor and elminate woody roots.
