Thymus serpyllum
Min Qty: 0.5 g
Description: Creeping ground cover, good in a rock garden or in walking paths. Very low maintenance perennial to zone 4 with an abundance of delicate purple flowers and a lemony fragrance.
Planting Instructions: Can be started indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost or directly into prepared beds after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. Choose a location with full sun to partial shade and good drainage. Press seeds into soil but do not cover. Germination takes 3-4 weeks and growth during the first year will be slow. A slow release fertilizer will help with poor soil, but otherwise plants will grow well in average to good soil to 6" high and spread out to 2 feet over time.
