Min Qty: 4g

Description: Perennial and one of the best varieties for cooking and baking. Plants started from seed typically take two years before their first harvest.

Planting Instructions: Start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost. Soak seed in water 1-2 hours before planting. Sow seeds 1/4-1/2" deep in a good starting medium. Keep evenly moist until seeds germinate in 2-3 weeks, but don't overwater. Transplant outdoors after hardening off in a prepared bed with very rich soil, spacing plants 36" apart in a location that receives afternoon shade during the hottest part of the summer. Keep soil evenly moist. It's best not to harvest stalks the first year if you're establishing a perennial bed.
