Rosmarinus officinalis
Min Qty: 0.2 g
Description: Native to Mediterranean coasts, grows to 3-4' perennial to zone 8, but can be overwintered indoors in cooler climates if kept cool and moist. Very fragrant plant that does well as a potted plant. Rosemary is used fresh or dried.
Planting Instructions: Start seeds indoors 10 weeks before last frost. Sow seeds 1/4" deep in seed starting formula. Rosemary has a low germination rate, around 30%. As soon as seedlings emerge, provide plenty of light. Transplant outside in a sunny location after danger of frost has passed and seedlings are hardened off.
