Lycopersicon esculentum
Min Qty: 0.5 g
Description: Indeterminate. Medium large plant produces clusters of sweet cherry red, pear-shaped tomatoes. Great for salads or snacking.
Planting Instructions: 70-75 days. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Plant seeds in flats or peat pots 1/4-1/2" deep in a sterile potting mix. Keep warm, above 70F and evenly moist until germination in 7-10 days. Transplant outdoors 18-36" apart after the danger of frost has passed and plants are hardened off. Choose a location with rich, fertile, well-drained soil with plenty of sun. Tomatoes can be buried deep, up their stems, where they'll grow additional roots. Prefers even watering and lots of composted, organic fertilizer. Plants grow to 3-4' and benefit from additional support.
