  • Provider Bush Green Bean

    $3.00

    Phaseolus vulgaris

    Min Qty: 60 Seeds

Description:  1965 Heirloom. Provider can be started earlier than other beans because it germinates well in cooler temps. Compact bush plants are easy to grow and provide heavy yields. Great for container gardening.  Excellent flavor fresh, canned or frozen. 5" straight, stringless pods.

Planting Instructions:   50-60 days.  Plant seeds 1-1/2" deep 2-3" apart in well-drained soil after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed.  Plant in a sunny location in rows 18-36" apart. Thin seedlings to 4-6".  Great for container gardening. Frequent harvesting of young pods increases yields.  Sow seeds every 2 weeks for fresh beans throughout the season.
