    Pisum sativum

    Min Qty: 60 Seeds

Description: Big, really big snow peas! 5" pods that are wide and fat, Oregon Giant can tolerate a light frost and cold temps. Vines grow up to 3' . Tasty in stir fries, steamed or fresh.

Planting Instructions: 60 days. Sow seeds as early as the ground can be worked. Plant 8-10 seeds per foot 1" deep on each side of a support in double rows about 6" apart. Space each set of rows 24-36" apart. Thin seedlings to 4-6" apart. Peas prefer cool weather. Start a second crop in late summer for a fall harvest, but an early frost will stop production of flowers and pods.
