Cucumis sativa
Min Qty: 30 seeds
Description: Perfect for dill pickles, but excellent in salads as well. First introduced in 1929.
Planting Instructions: 52 days. Can be started indoors 3-4 weeks before last frost or direct seeded after danger of frost has passed. Very tender; will not withstand frost. Sow seeds 1-1/2" deep, 3" apart in loose, rich soil in rows 4-6' apart. If you are planting in hills, plant 3-4 seeds in a ring around the top of the hill, spacing your hills about 3' apart. Plant with corn and pole beans, about 2 weeks after the corn is sown. Cucumbers like good fertility and regular watering for best yields. Pick fruits frequently to improve production.
