Planting Instructions: 120 days. Start plants indoors 8-12 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors after hardening off plants for 7-10 days.. Transplant stems up to their leaves 4' apart. Make sure the soil is well fertilized as artichokes are heavy feeders. Mulch the soil around the plant to keep the soil cool and moist. Perennial in zones 7+. Can be brought in by digging up the roots and storing in cool, but not freezing room.
