Description: Large, delicious seeds, fresh, frozen, canned or dried. Drought resistant and tolerant of a wide variety of soil conditions. 6-7" pods on heavy yielding vines. Rumored to bring good luck when eaten on New Year's Day! Very old domesticated plant, originating in Africa.

Planting Instructions: 80 days. Sow seeds in average soil in a sunny location after the danger of frost has passed and when soil has warmed . Plant seeds 2" deep, 2-3" apart in rows 24" apart. Vines may need support. Harvest fresh after about 60 days, or allow pods to dry for storage, approximately 90 days.
